Welcome to The Typewritery!
We’re a creative pop-up studio that specializes in custom typewritten poems and poetry experiences.
Art and creativity are integral to our human experience. That’s why at The Typewritery, our mission is to spark connections and foster community through artistic expression and experimentation.
Order a Cozy Fall Mystery Poem!
From now through October 31, you can snag a cozy fall mystery poem to celebrate this season of transformation and reflection.
The poem you order will be an original by our founder, Kristina, and it’ll be founder’s choice! Therein lies the mystery: you won’t quite know what you’ll get but it’ll be sure to delight.
As always, the poem you receive will be custom-typed, and so no two will look exactly alike, and you choose the price! A portion of proceeds will support Immigration Law & Justice Michigan.
Pop-Up Poetry
From time to time, The Typewritery participates in pop-up poetry experiences in public and invited spaces. These opportunities bring the magic of poetry to life with on-the-spot custom poem creation.
“I loved my poem from The Typewritery. There's something so precious about a typewritten poem, and the cadence and tone of the poem were perfect for the subject I chose. I'm so glad I own one. I was so happy with mine that I framed it!“
