Founded by writer, editor, communications professional, and cat lover Kristina Pepelko, The Typewritery is on a mission to spark connections and foster community through artistic expression and experimentation.

That’s why The Typewritery has been designed as a pop-up experience.

We pop up in public or invited spaces to create typewritten poems on the spot for folks just like you who want to engage with art and creativity at random.

We also pop up online for 1-2 month opportunities during which you can order one-of-a-kind typewritten poems that will be delivered to you or your chosen recipient via postal mail.

Every poem order—whether in-person or online—supports a nonprofit organization through a portion of donated proceeds and allows you the chance to choose your price and topic.
